It just makes sense that if I've agreed to something, then you'll go along with it out of convenience. Trying to act independent in this matter is only going to give me a headache and then you'll have to spend hours trying to calm me down.

Lee took over that group of volunteers and I thought I owed it to the original creator to actually get involved for all the help she's given you.

I don't remember much of my life prior to this colony but I'm aware that I'm uncomfortable with working in a group. I've expressed that to him and for some insensible reason, I'm telling you this as well.

Tell him you'll be an independent contractor. Advertise what kind of work you and I can do and tell Lee that he can hire us in specific situations. Now you don't work for free, you can satisfy your conscience, and you can not only work with me but stay away from large groups.

Volunteer groups tend to have a lot of money to begin with, mostly because there are a lot of people who don't want to do a thing but will make themselves feel better about it by donating money.

--but I did tell him he can only call on me, no one else. So if Lee is asking for my help, then it must be pretty serious. I'll just have to find some other sucker to part with his money for a job well done.
