What I still fail to grasp is that though she's just a girl of a similar age to Athena, you place such trust in her. Certainly she's competent, but even so... Is that enough to warrant taking your orders from her?
Do you trust Athena as a defense lawyer? That answer is probably yes, because she has dedicated and spent a large amount of her life getting ready for it. Rin is the same. Her life has been spent not only preparing to be a Master but fighting against those who hold all the power.
Athena is still a fledgling lawyer and has a great deal to learn. But yes, I trust her, so I see your point. Perhaps I'll ask Rin about it sometime, if she's willing to discuss her past.
