I'll get you a proper teacher and we'll work from there. I only know two spells, one of which would be minorly useful for you. But watching you learn could help inspire me, I think.

You're aware of my family's lineage. In your world, they were great magi weren't they? So it's possible I could become a great one myself.

Possible? I'm pretty sure that with the right training combined with your current experience, you would probably put everyone here to shame.

[He's pretty serious too. A Rin with combat training and a life without magic using magic spells could wipe the floor.]

I wouldn't want to go through all of that though learning a new thing or two is a good idea if only to bolster my own strengths as a combatant.

[ Always honing those survival skills. ] I have a lot to catch up on in my absence, I suspect, but for now I rather take it easy. I can't dive head first into all of this reading without first resting my brain.

You'll have to settle for me taking things at my own pace. Mother said that the magi used to study from a young age and I'm already several years behind so it's not as if I'll ever have an advantage over one from birth.

Happy? [ She's back in this dump and no close to solving what happened in the Moon Cell much less any closer to getting her memories back. ]

It's a relief I was able to return to something familiar though there's still a lot of unanswered questions on my mind. If there's any place I can be happy at, it's this... but that's only because I don't remember much else.
